Overview
About Me
I am a mother, a poet, and a sociologist. I am an avid gardener with bunny named pistachio who used to live under our cherry tree. I have six lovely chickens. I spend most of my time being a mother, then what is left I divide between graduate school, cooking, and my garden, sometimes in that order.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am planning a trip to Italy next summer. My grandmother's family is from the Genoa area and I am very excited to visit. I will be in Italy for a month in order to try and research my family history. For the first two weeks of my trip, I will be traveling with my son who will be 9 years old and my father. Once they return to Oregon and I will be solo, I thought couch surfing would be a great way to meet people and experience the city and surrounding area's

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe not amazing, but I enjoy this memory. I was a studio assistant to a fine arts painter and made oil paints by hand using the formula Ruben would have his apprentices use.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a few good recipes I can share. I can share my poetry, and things I have learned in graduate school. I can also share my curiosity and wonder for life.
