I'm a positive open-minded Finnish girl and at a time I'm living my long-time dream become true. Three years ago I decided that I'm gonna do it: I will travel around the world. I started to save money and left Finland with my boyfriend (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1003305570/profile) in the beginning of July 2014. And I need to say that I have never been this happy. I sold my stuff and have mostly everything I own in one backbag and that's all that I need for now. I have freedom!

I love to spend time outdoors: wandering, jogging, trekking, bicycling and doing other sports. I'm always up to try a new kind of sport and enjoy meeting new people. I also like to make handicrafts, bake and cook food and enjoy seeing people writing (yep, doesn't it sound weird?) since I love lettering.

We are now traveling but are more than happy to show you around in Finland when we are back in summer 2016.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling a lot and at the same time met a lot of amazing people who are still my good friends. I want to help other surfers too to find a couch and learn some facts about Finland. In the summer time you definately gonna get a chance to visit our cottage too and learn the real Finnish way of relaxing.

Meeting new people and learning new cultures is a passion for me. You learn so much more by talking with people coming from other countries. I have slept a lot in hostels too, but normally you don't meet there local people, only travellers from other countries. When surfing, it is easier to get in touch with locals and get to know the culture better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have favourite music and mostly I like silence. When other people come home and put music on, I prefer being in the silence, but if there are other people at house too, I'm always up to listen to different kind of music and dance.

I don't read a lot because I'm a slow reader. I would like to read faster and when I'm thinkg about that all the time I'm reading I can't get further with my book. But sometimes when there is a very good book, I forget that I read so slowly, and that's a good thing ofcourse :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made my long time dream become true and started trip around the world in July 2014. In November 2014 I run my first marathon in Penang, Malaysia and enjoyed it a lot.

There are a lot of other amazing things too, but I think those are the ones which are evident in my mind now since they are so new. I'm sure I'm gonna face a lot of new things during this year too.
