Hey hey! Excited for my first solo trip through Europe. I am a writer, performing artist and teacher who loves combining all of those things in new and interesting ways. I'm looking to have an organic and flexible adventure, meet people, dance in every city I visit and write and draw a ton. I value community, open and honest communication and curiosity! Also I'm a total nerd so if you want to geek out about Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Sense8, etc, I'm your gal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the social dancing scene, hosting out of town people is a tradition and part of the culture. Traveling for dance and staying with locals has made me never want to travel a different way. Plus, people opening their doors to strangers renews my faith in humanity during dark times (re: now). I'm a recovering perfectionist so couchsurfing seems the best way for me to kick my overplanning tendencies and go with the flow more.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm happy to teach dance skills to people! I swing dance, blues dance, do Contact Improvisation and contemporary dance. I'd also love to go out to a social dance with you, even if you've never danced before!

Learn: I'm not so great with languages but I'm always eager to learn some of the local dialect. I also would love to learn about the local culture and history and eat local food of course! I love learning about science and technology. I also like learning new physical skills like circus, partner acrobatics or parkour.

Share: I'd be happy to share meals, share thoughts, share writing and art-making time. Let's go see some music, theater or dance together. If you are Jewish, I would love to share Shabbat dinner with you or go to Shabbat services. Or if you'd like to share and/or exchange different spiritual practices, I'd love that too.
