About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking on the bright side of life

ABOUT ME

It's tricky to describe oneself but... let's give it a shot!
I try to be a respectful, patient person and I hate any kind of violence. One of my goals is to try to make people around me happier as far as possible, and share lots of laughs.
At the same time, I'm a human being, which means that my mood changes sometimes to a not-as-nice version of me (but don't worry, this isn't "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"!)
It's a very rough description, so I dare you to meet me :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hakuna matata ("live and let live").

"Sharing is caring."

Al suave / Con calma / Take it easy (something that I need to tell myself every now and then)

Every moment has its phrase.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently studying abroad in a little village in the middle on nowhere (in Norway), so I don't have many visits, as it isn't on the way to any bigger place. Before I moved there, I was living with my parents, so I could only offered my company to the visitors in Madrid!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now, I've only had two couchsurfing experiences (willing to increase the number!) and unfortunately they were both very short visits of one night each. However, it was very nice to share impressions while having a nice meal.

Interests

Read books, when I feel I've found the right one, noone can interrupt me.
Sleep, I love it.
Spend time with my family, lie down on the couch with them at night watching any film.
Spend time with my friends hanging out, catching up with their lives, drinking beers or playing board games.
And everything related to biology, of course. (Please don't transgenic debates.)

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS: The Neverending Story and Momo (M. Ende), Cien años de Soledad (García Márquez), Rayuela (Cortázar), Piratas (Alberto Vazquez Figueroa), The Clan of the Cave Bear (Jean M. Auel), The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini), Ensayo sobre la ceguera (José Saramago), La saga de los Chain (Gerald Green), Agatha Christie, Manolito Gafotas (E. Lindo)...
MUSIC: I don't have a favourite group. I prefer loose songs. I like reggae, ska, cuban music, jazz, rock and a bit of heavy.
FILMS: I'll probably clean forget about lots of films (as same as it happens to me with books) but, anyway, Amelie, Before Sunset, The Lord of the Rings, Stand by me, Matilda, Dos tipos duros, Fantasía (Disney old movies in general)... I like any gender.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I actually think anything could be amazing. Depends on the day even a fly seems amazing to me (specially while I'm studying.) But if I have to chose, I would probably say swimming with sharks in the Caribbean and have "rondón" (typical dinner) in the beach!
And the hikes through the Norwegian landscape, simply amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

It says here I have special knowledge than others will benefit from knowing. Well, the truth is... I don't know which is it. So let's be practical: I can teach Spanish. (Eventough it's the less special thing in the world.)
I would like to learn so many things I can't remember. So let's be practical again: typical dishes would be great!
