I'm a fun 25 year old, currently living in a village called Federal, which is a 30 minute drive from Byron Bay.

I see myself as a positive, kind and generous person which is why I love couchsurfing so much. I enjoy getting to share this part of Australia with travellers and exploring my favourite swimming holes, beaches, national parks, villages, markets and pubs or restaurants (these aren't always on trip advisor!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been involved with Couchsurfing since 2012 and have only had the best experiences since then. I started by hosting people in my parents' home and then in apartments/sharehouses while living in Brisbane city.

Interests

I've grown up on rural properties and as a result enjoy all things outdoors - camping, nature walks, swimming, bodyboarding/surfing, photography, scenic drives and animals.

I also love music, specifically electronic which is incredible to experience outdoors. Australia holds some incredible bush doofs (raves or outdoor concerts) in pristine settings, which a lot of the time are hard for travellers to find. Feel free to ask me for invitations to these as there is usually one on every month :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music from 60/70/80's classics, to current pop, punk, modern rock and a variety of electronic music! Absolutely love films - mostly horror or anything with a captivating plot and good acting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef and exploring it's beautiful coral and marine wildlife.
Watching massive sea turtles navigating up the beach and laying their eggs on Lady Musgrave Island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love native animals, plants and culture. I am more than happy to share my knowledge on these! I am also a driving instructor so will gladly teach others how to drive in Australia :)
