ABOUT ME

Hmmmmm where to begin???

I'm extremely outgoing and love meeting new people. I am very active and always up for an adventure. I am a huge health nut and love trying new foods. When I'm not traveling I am managing my business "Mischa's Fishes". It's a swim school for children. I have always worked with children and it's one of my many passions in life. I'm also a Miami/San Diego Lifestyle + Wedding Photographer at MRose Photographer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have mostly surfed, when we had our apt in North PB, San Diego we hosted a couple of peeps! I'm looking forward to hosting more travelers once we have a home again one day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple experiences so far. One that stands out the most was my first and it was extremely out there!! It was at a squat in Paris. Ask me about it when we meet.

I am looking forward to meeting more people in the future. My best friend and hubby have CS'ed all over the place and have met tons of great people.

Interests

photography, hiking, yoga, squba diving, all sports (mainly soccer,beach volleyball + swimming), music, gardening, exploring with no plan, love animals, horse riding, volunteering, anything earthy. =)

Being around children. They keep you young! I've been working with children since I was 13 years old....it's my biggest passion in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well it can't be one thing because I have plenty, so here's a couple:

-Climbed Mt. Massada in Israel and watched the sun rise!
-done lots of triathlons
-Saw Jack Johnson in Rome.
-Volunteered in Guatemala with an organization called LONG WAY HOME
- saw sunset at Haleakala National Park in Maui, HI.
-ate way too much in Kyoto, Japan
- did a tandem bike tour with my husband from Astoria, OR to San Francisco, CA camped every night for a month. Total miles: 1,100
-currently traveling the world with my husband
-5 day silent meditation retreat in Nilambe, Sri Lanka
- Midburn in Israel
