Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a little in the summer of 2010, mainly in Eastern Europe. Very good experiences all round.

Interests

Everything. Love languages and learning about new cultures (although who on CS doesn't?). Music, calligraphy,reddit, beer, walking up tall things or long distances.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: bit of everything. If it was written in the 60s, I like it from Buffalo Springfield to Lou Reed to the Rolling Stones to Nina Simone. Lots before or since, from Tchaikovsky to Brand New.

Movies: Film Noir (The Third Man), anything with police (The Wire, Engrenages, Forbrydelsen), anything about Ireland (The Commitments, In the Name of the Father, The Wind that Shakes the Barley) and V for Vendetta (favourite movie).

Books: Nabokov, Orwell, Rand, Tales of the Nasr e Din Khoja, Joyce. (I read a lot, especially when travelling)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked 200km around Romania with a donkey (and my dad) at the age of 8.
