ABOUT ME

I'm a short, curly blond from Canada! I studied in tourism and hotel management in Montreal. I'm a very curious person, always ready for a new adventure and discovering new things. I'm a very openminded person, I like to have fun and enjoy life every day. I am up to try anything at least once and want to find different adventures and experiences everywhere and anytime I can. I am friendly, outgoing and I love to met new people. I lived 3 months in La Rochelle, France for a university semester. Then I backpacked alone for 2 months and a half all around Europe. That was my first true experience traveling and discovering the world and now I can't get enough!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a very "family" person : I believe you're family is, at the end, all you've got. This quote represents perfectly my vision of family : "The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don't. But, in the end, they're the people you always come home to. Sometimes it's the family you're born into and sometimes it's the one you make for yourself." Most important : you can only live once, so ENJOY. Carpe diem, as we say! Life's to short to stay in our comfort zone and not live crazy adventures!

I live in a very small appartment, so I can't host anyone right now, but it would be a pleasure for me to meet travelers for a beer in Montreal when I come back!

Interests

Travelling and learning. Cooking, baking, eating: ANYTHING that as to do with food, basically! Haha! I love to discover food from different countries, and I am even more interested if it's authentic food. I also love all the girly typical stuff like fashion. I would love to learn more about photography, and I especially like black and white portraits.

Well... I've touched a shark once? Haha! Also backpacking alone at 22 years old all around Europe is something I am pretty proud of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to learn a lot with my future couchsurfing experience: about others AND about myself. I hope to be able to discover every country and city that I visit with advice from local people. This is the only real way to travel, in my opinion.
