Was born and grew up in the city of Saint-Petersburg, then when I was about 10 our family moved to Crimea. When I graduated from high school, I entered the Far East Federal University in Vladivostok, where I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

Serving briefly as a host in 2013-14 with my father, I greatly enjoyed the spirit of the genuine travelling experience Couchsurfing offers. Getting to help people navigate an unfamiliar environment, to share with them what I love about my city, hearing travel stories and learning about differing cultural peculiarities was a profoundly illuminating and enriching experience for me. Much of my current fluency in English I owe to the couchsurfers who provided me the first taste of intercultural and inter-linguistic communication, the unquenchable allure of which has pervaded and moulded my journey through life for years to come.

クリミアに住んでいた時、僕は家族とホストだった。couchsurfingのおかげで英語をはじめて使って、諸国から人達にしゃべった。とても面白かったから、もっと言語を勉強を続けた。

Having enrolled in a university in a different city and living in the dormitories, I am sadly not able to be a host anymore. I thus look to for the first time in my life be on the receiving end of the transaction, to be the one requesting a host instead of providing it.
