I'm an ex-Wall Street banker (don't judge) who quit, traveled the world for 15 months, spent two years in Florida working/volunteering in politics trying to save us from Donald Trump, now working toward eventually owning a scuba dive shop somewhere. Currently living in Tucson, AZ, looking to get involved in the 2020 election, but taking some time to travel first.

I've been on CS for a while, but I haven't actually had an opportunity to really use it. I've gone to a couple meetups and hung out with CS folks, but I haven't hosted or surfed...yet :-) But it seems like great way to meet people and makes being a nomad a lot cheaper :-)

I'm still addicted to 90s alternative rock (Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden), but also listen to a lot of 80s, some classic 60s and 70s stuff, and more contemporary alternative and rock/pop (less of the pop). My favorite movie is still The Princess Bride. I tend to prefer dramas and thrillers to comedies, though. I go through phases with books. Sometimes it's fiction (read a lot of Grisham and Crichton), sometimes it's non-fiction (books on WWI or some period; huge fan of Michael Lewis), sometimes it's historical fiction (Devil in the White City is one of my all-time favorite books). Most recent book was The Underground Railroad by Colston Whitehead...outstanding!
