CURRENT MISSION

I am on my way of exploring myself. I travel a lot- because i want to see how different people are around- that makes me feel good. I want to bring my emotions, photos and some fuunny stories to people who i do not know but am eager to get aquanted with.

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly person, who likes spending his time actively.
In 2008 i was residing in Oslo,Norway. Loved there for a year and a half. Then moved back to Riga, Latvia for a some years and in 2013 moved to Belgrade, Serbia. In Balkans i spent as well a marvelous 1 year.
And right now am in Yoshkar-Ola, Russian Federation. In November 2016 i will move back to Latvia for few more months and then will choose my next destination.
I am always up for a meeting with foreigners and sharing the experiences.

I like spending my time in lovely way. Often i do small trips with my friends on Bikes or we drive car to beautiful cities of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia or Russia.

PHILOSOPHY

I like speaking to people- that keeps me smiling and understanding myself. Through a dialogue i bring new thoughts into my head and also my partner of talk changes a bit of himself, so by talking we change small parts of our common world.
Just keep communicating and we will change the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Latvia- Riga- i have there quite big apartment, where i can also host people.

And weekends i am spending in my Hometown in Latvia -Daugavpils. So you are welcome there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time i tried Couch Surfing was before i mooved out from my hometown to Riga. I just needed to stay overnight in the capital city.
My friend helped me in finding a place .
It was so wonderful- i have never been so much excited- i got to know best party places in Riga and no sleep, because i stayed with a couple who liked to do exciting things- so very first experience was really active one.

Interests

I like taking photos of people and nature.

I like active travelling- i would love to do a tour of mountain climbing next summer-maybe in Georgia or in Ukraine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Amelie is one of the movies i am in love to. As well german movie 'Barfuss' - just perfect scenery and so nice film.
I also like watching russian Cartoons- i do it quite often with friends of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did quite many fascinating trips around Europe including Russian Southern side- Astrakhan, Mahachkala, Pjatigorsk and even some villages of Chechnya.
In Last 10 year i visited almost all European counties and I think that sooner or later I will start exploring the lands beyond the oceans.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to come for a visit to Norway or Latvia or Russia- i can be a person who can give you a First Aid Knowledge how to survive in these countries- like basic tips what to do and how to that
- which transport to use, where to eat, where to shop, and how to fullfill your plans.
