About Me
Hello,
I am a sister, a daughter, friend, cyclist, host, hiker, river guide, and ambassador of goodwill. I come from a family that loves and appreciates the outdoors. For me, one might say travel and outdoor adventure was encultered from a young age, and has stuck with me throughout my adult life. Travel has introduced me to many great ideas and experiences, including serving in AmeriCorps, cycling across half of the United States, and meeting great people! I truly believe the joy is in the journey, and can't wait to see where travel takes me next.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of the time, i am highly dedicated to college studies and staying in one place for that sole reason. During school semesters is when I am most available to host fellow couchsurfers. However, when winter, spring, and summer breaks come - I like to travel!
My philosophy is that traveling is a lot of fun on its own, but meeting people and sharing experiences is even better. I'm on couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to support myself and others on all types of journies - long, short, spiritual, and/or spontaneous!

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading, I Am Pilgrim which will be followed by The Alchemist. I also might be slightly addicted to a couple tv shows including Arrow and The Flash.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I took a bicycle trip with two others, my sister and a close friend. We pedaled from Flag, AZ to Northern MN. Along the way, we camped, explored small towns, and ate lots of food to keep us going. It was a really rewarding experience, and showed me a different perspective of the United States - a slow one from behind my handlebars that opened my eyes to the beauty and detail of the country.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best life lesson I've ever learned is that the world is a classroom - keeping an open mind leads to more learning and exceptional experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing stories, life experiences, and of course good cooking and coffee!
