About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as possible and spread some good vibes while doing it.

ABOUT ME

I am a laidback, fun-loving guy who has a love for adventuring, trying new things, and meeting new people. I love learning about new cultures and discovering what the world has to offer. I am a genuinely curious person who likes to experience a culture through actually living in it; that includes trying the food, talking to the people, admiring the landscape, and getting a sense of the vibe a city or town may offer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn. I am curious person by nature and I try to soak up knowledge wherever I go. I think the best way to learn is talk to people, hear about their experiences, and then LIVE your own adventures. There's no better way to that than with a smile on your face. This planet is so beautiful, take time to soak it in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling at the moment!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CouchSurfing experience has been nothing short of spectacular! I've discovered that you meet some of the most incredible, inviting people. It allows for an optimistic spin of life, knowing that such welcoming individuals exist in the world. I've had an absolute pleasure meeting everyone, and I hope to meet more as time goes on!

Interests

Some of my biggest interests include music, movies, and skiing (a bit of a random mix). I recently spent a winter working at a ski resort in Utah (The Canyons) where I fulfilled my dream of skiing for a winter. I kept up a music blog for 3-and-a-half years, and although that is unfortunately done at the moment, I am still entertaining the idea of pursuing a career in music in the future. I love the arts, so naturally I love watching movies. I can talk about these interests on and on. I also love talking about other sports, traveling, or photography. Another one of my favorite activities is throwing a frisbee in cool or unlikely places (I carry one with me wherever I go).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My job as a Summer Leader in Urubamba was probably the most amazing thing I've done. I lead groups of high schools kids on community service projects and excursions. During the week we helped build schools, extend canal networks, and installed cleaning burning stoves for those who couldn't afford it. On the weekend I lead them on adventures to places like Cusco, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo, and Machu Picchu (which alone is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen).

Teach, Learn, Share

I am most knowledgable in my top three interests; I could talk about music, movies, and skiing forever! I also have some decent experience in those areas. I could also probably teach a little bit about my travels, but THAT is also where I want to improve the most. I want to learn about culture, language, traveling...what LIFE really is!
