I'm a Russian guy, who likes travelling, history, arts, reading, bicycle riding and many other things. These days I am studying Liberal Arts at University of Pécs in southern Hungary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world, to see a new country, a new city from the point of view of someone who lives there, not travels.
And, of course, I want to see the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like indie, alternative, pop, rock music. I listen to Lorde, Troye Sivan, Taylor Swift, Oh Wonder, Years&Years, Florence + the Machine, Hurts, Cub Sport, Two Doors Cinema Club, Harry Styles, Imagine Dragons and, also, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa. In fact, there's a lot of singers and band I like. Also I'm fond of blues, jazz and acoustic music.

Talking about films and serieses, I like dramas, musicals, detectives and a little bit comedies, horrors and thrillers. My favourite serieses are Six feet under, AHS, Skam and many others. I do not have exact favourite films. I like everything directed by Xavier Dolan, Alan Ball, Ryan Murphy. Also I like watching European films, especially made in 1960s-1980s. The last movie that really excited me was Nomadland.

I like Russian classical literature and books about history but my tastes here are limitless. And I prefer to read all the oeuvres in original.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the most amazing thing I have ever seen and am seeing is nature of our planet. Just look around, and you'll see how beautiful the Earth is

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am polite and do not make any noise. I can keep up a conversation and lend an ear
We can play any board games, chess, cards or so on - if you cannot, I ll teach. We can go to some kind of a bar or a club together, or I'm happy to see the sights my host likes in his/her town.
