HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once in a while I meet people, sometimes stay at their place, sometimes let them stay at mine. When I travel somewhere I first check on CS for any opportunities for growing my contact network. CS does help saving money, but benefits stretch far beyond just that, and I really find great networking benefits in it. I like making new friendships, saving on hotels is not the reason for me to be here, and lot of times I even book my hotels before even coming to CS checking who's where. I like to meet people during my travels that I can connect with, and stay in touch long after.a while I meet people, sometimes stay at their place, sometimes let them stay at mine. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far was hosted in Hong Kong, and met some CS friends in China/Taiwan. in 2016 want to explore Asia Pacific and hope to make more CS experience.

I just won't lie to you: action, fighting, shooting, blowing things up, car chases, all the good stuff. Grew up on Van Damme and Jackie Chan, these days consuming Jason Statham's and Scott Adkins' films.

Music: yes please!

Books: sorry, I'm not a book person. I read little, but I do. Most recently been reading The Art Of Thinking Clearly by Rolf Dobelli, very very good one!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Went from Hsinchu to Hualian on a scooter trip through mountains. Alone. On a single tank of fuel. I had a road accident, and after that I drove with my clothes teared, covered in dried mix of blood and dust. And so I drove, but only until I run out of fuel. In the middle of... well, let' just say there was no civilization where I was, no 7/11, no gas station, no shelter.
The amazing part about it was to actually come safe and sound from it at the end, and learning for the future to take extra gasoline with you whenever you're heading trans-mountain from west coast to the east cost of Taiwan.
