Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To laugh a lot :-) or make others laugh
ABOUT ME
I just completed my service as a Health Promotion PCV in Karakol City and am now making my way back to the states! I like live music, learning about new cultures, and lively discussions. I'm really short, so a lot of people try to use me as an arm rest. Pretty easy-going.
PHILOSOPHY
Not really sure yet... but open to learning about others' philosophies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed once and hope to surf more in the future. Hoping to host if my housing situation is good in the future.
Otherwise I've mostly walked around with other CSers and travelers and shown them the zoo, museum, the historical Orthodox church and Dungan mosque in Karakol. I also know volunteers at the local Tourist Info Center and can give contact and basic info about accommodations in town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first surfing experience last year in Almaty and it was great! I've also met other surfers passing through town and it's been fun getting to meet new people. Looking forward to meeting others!

Hiked Ala-Kol lake (outside of Karakol) for 4 days in the rain. Always bring more garbage bags that you expect to use. And duct tape.
