ABOUT ME

I´m an ASL interpreter and lucky to be one of those people who love my job. I´ve studied linguistics and interpreting and have a Master´s degree in both fields. I´m taking a break from school to work and travel. I´m still getting used to the idea of not being a broke college student. :)

I´m traveling around with my best friend Jill. We met in college back in freshmen year. We´ve been wanting to travel Europe for awhile and are finally doing it. I´ve been to Europe a few times before but this is her first time.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. I live my life to learn. In 5 years I hope to be a different person than the one typing this profile. The only way to do that is to constantly learn and experience this world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve very new to Couch Surfing but am looking forward to the day when I can put my couch up for surfing. Right now I´m just a guest in someone else´s spare bedroom so I don´t have the freedom to host. But I´m in love with the idea of this global community that´s purpose is to suport complete strangers while they travel the world. What a way to encourage the sharing of cultures and ideas!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We´ve had limited experiences but they were 100% amazing. CS has reinforced my belief that travels are a unique kind of people - open, honest, and easy to be with.

Centres d'intérêt

Obviously traveling. On this trip we're interested in the usual things that draw peoples attention: sights, history, and local color. We like seeing the unusual and the little known areas of places as well.

The most amazing place I've seen was the northern tip of New Zealand. It's wonderfully peaceful and beyond beautiful.
