ABOUT ME

I'm a circus artist, doing everything from aerials to juggling to acrobatics to fire performance. I like travel and meet new people, learning from those who teach and teaching those who are willing to learn. I'm terrifically extroverted and social and hugely enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.

When I'm not throwing myself or others through the air, I freelance write, make art, and cook.

I'm currently based out of Portland, OR, but I've wandered over the world and almost certainly have some sort of connection to anywhere you've been too. I love swapping travel stories, practicing other languages and generally listening to other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have a stable space to live, I love to host folks coming through. When I'm on the road, I trade nights on couches for stories, cooking or teaching. I'm a very respectful guest, and I'll happily clean or cook for anyone kind enough to offer me a spot to stay! In fact, making elaborate meals for strangers is one of the reasons I love to travel :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much experience on the formal couchsurfing community yet- though I've certainly couchsurfed my way across the country through networks and friends before!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Carnaval in Rio last year was one of the most amazing experiences of my life....as was living in Sao Paulo for 6 months!

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach: contact juggling, toss juggling, props juggling, unicycling, fire spinning, cello, screen printing, stencil making, rabble rousing, street performance, and a proper appreciation for the modern independent comics scene.

I learn: anything, everything, more circus arts, another perspective, different languages, and maybe even your name.
