About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am studying in Chile until the end of November, and only have the month of December 2011 to travel! First time outside of the country, and I officially have the traveling bug!!

ABOUT ME

This is my first time traveling outside of the U.S., so I feel like a complete newb at everything (which I obviously am haha). Now that I have had this opportunity to travel and study abroad, I don't know how I will ever go back home! There is so much to say about oneself, but some basics: I grew up around music, I play classical piano, a little guitar, and I love to sing. Running is my passion, I try to run as often as possible. I am approaching a crossroads in my life (almost done with college) in which I realize that I need to travel and explore the world to see where life takes me next.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything you experience in life has a lesson to be learned from, you can't always see it in the moment but you have to have faith.

“Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” – Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Address
