For me, couch surfing is not only about sharing some sleeping space with someone you have not met before.
I believe it is a way to overcome barriers that are constantly imposed on us in everyday life - it helps you slow down, reconsider a lot of things while exchanging fascinating ideas with other people. And with a beer in hand.
