About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world, to meet new people and new cultures, to enjoy nature and beauty of this planet.
ABOUT ME
I spent my childhood wandering around the hills and meadows of my home region, building camps and cottages with my friends (it's funny how it didn't change much since then, only it's all in bigger scale now :P). Already then I gained strong relationship with nature, which still fulfills my soul. I'm a very spiritual person, and I'm amazed by the principles of the old cultures that were deeply connected to nature (such as native americans and aborigines). Besides that I love art (generally), philosophy, science (especially astronomy), movies and sports. There's one great quote by Albert Einstein that I often like to repeat: "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." So, I try to keep my mind positive and just let myself flow with the energy that goes all around. If there's one thing out there I really hate (and I don't like to use that word), then it must be routine. When the routine once catches you, it compresses your days into weeks, weeks into months, months into years,... I'm a great dreamer and sometimes still feeling as a little child surrounded by all the toys I want to play with. I might be a little lazy sometimes, but I never give up on my dreams. When you first meet me, I may seem shy (if I'm not, then I must be drunk :P), but as soon as I realize you're good person I open up myself.
PHILOSOPHY
Might be a speech by Charlie Chaplin from the movie "The Great Dictator".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Until now I only surfed, but I'd also like to host. The problem is I don't have conditions for hosting yet (I live in a dorm). But if you need any help or a guide feel free to contact me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At a very young age I was already extremely adventurous and had seen and done many things (my parents often searched for me and were mad at me :D). Then I started running professionally at the age of 11 just to focus my extra energy on something (long distances were my favorite), so at the age of 13 I ran a half-marathon in 1h 23min 24sec which is pretty much amazing for that age. I often come up with the extreme ideas that could be compared to the moment when Forest Gump starts to run xD. Once when I was very young I decided to run around my house which is not a small one, so I ran 120 circles around it which is equal to 7km :D,...and once I played basketball alone on the local court when I decided I won't leave the key until I score 1000 points and it took me about hour and a half to do that. Besides that I did long distance swimming, cycling, mountaineering and trail-racing. Whenever there's a mountain peak around I'll feel the need to climb it. Once I got stuck in a middle of the boulder with a friend. We tried to climb it but only when we reached some gap at the half distance to the top we realized we underestimated it, but luckily we managed to get down without injuring ourselves (I bet this is more stupid than amazing - or amazingly stupid xD). I've been wandering through the woods at night with that very same friend and our only light was a cell phone screen.
At my first CS trip I hitchhiked with my friend. We were traveling from Trier in Germany to Luxembourg, and at the halfway one man from Luxembourg (with origins from Congo) picked us up. So, our goal was only to visit Luxembourg (25km away from the town he picked us at), but incredibly it ended up in a 600km ride with that guy as we realized he was actually going to Brussels. He first took us to Luxembourg, showed us around and insisted to pay a lunch for us. Then he drove us all the way to Brussels and made a deal to pick us up 6 hours later. Then he took us all the way back to Trier. "Thank you" wasn't enough for such a deed he's done for us, but as we tried to thank him somehow he just said he expects us to do a favor to anyone else who needs it. This reminded us of a movie "Pay It Forward".
My trip to America was also pretty much amazing. Especially seeing Manhattan from the plane at night, and the first time entering such a big city as Chicago.
Besides that I walked 30km through the streets of Paris the first day I visited it (I was inspired by the movie "Midnight in Paris"). Once I drove a car in France without license (because the guys who wanted to give us a lift to the airport were too drunk xD - this is also in "amazingly stupid" category). There are many more interesting things I've been through but I got to save some for meeting you in person :P.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, there aren't many things that I'm expert with, but I hope I can teach you something. Besides architecture (philosophy, history, programs, drawing), I can teach you some sports (like basketball or tennis, or how to swim properly and do some body exercises), basics of the guitar playing, some scientific and historical facts,... Generally I'm always eager to discuss different ideas and I like abstract thinking.
There are many things I'd like to learn, but I put the emphasis on the foreign languages and cultures. There's also one thing I need to learn: cooking!
