About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat every type of food from all over the world!

ABOUT ME

I am a born and raised true-blooded midwestern boy from the USA. I am currently seeing the world as an Erasmus Mundus Master's student, which has allowed me to study in Scotland, Spain, France, and now Vienna over the last two years. I am taking advantage of this time overseas by exploring as many cultures as possible and take advantage of every second of every day.

I love sports more than anything except food.

I am always up for an adventure and love having new experiences and discovering new knowledge about the world.

I'm super easily amused, and often just enjoy watching everything that is going on around me.

I am an idealist, and constantly have my heart broken by Northwestern University Athletics. I know this will change someday.

I believe in serendipity and am always on the lookout for it. This makes every second of every day a fantastic one to spend alive. In my opinion, this is much better than the alternative.

I hope to make the entire world see the natural beauty in everything this world provides.

PHILOSOPHY

Serendipity!

Nothing gets in the way of your vision of yourself in the future. Today I win.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting people in Girona, Spain was an eye-opening experience, even if most of the people were just there because of the Ryanair airport.

For some reason nobody wanted to visit in the middle of nowhere, France, and I got to experience a lot more of the surfing side of things. A once in a lifetime trip to Kenya was possible because of CouchSurfing, as well as a 2 week EUROTRIP through Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Liechtenstein.

Now here in Vienna the couchsurfing life is taking another leap forward with things going on just about every day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with CouchSurfing has been greater than I could have ever imagined. So many amazing people out there eager to hear your story and develop your inspirations.

I am convinced that this is the only way to discover real world while traveling. I have learned so much from the people I've met on CouchSurfing. Culture is an amazing thing, and I hope to keep experiencing more from all over the world. Every time I meet someone new my eyes get opened to another entirely new viewpoint, and this is a fantastic thing.

Kenya has by far been my most incredible experience yet, all possible only because of CouchSurfing.
