About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to connect with others who appreciate all you learn when exposed to things outside of your day to day life
ABOUT ME
hi there!
from growing up in a first generation american family to being blessed enough to travel the world from an early age, i can't express how much i love travel, languages and exploring other cultures.
i graduated from hamline university (st. paul, minnesota, usa) with a triple major in fashion merchandising, international management and french. i had the wonderful opportunity to spend a semester at the université de savoie in the french alps. this was when i really learned the joy of weekend country-hopping and was introduced to couchsurfing.
i now work in the corporate world (for a well-known american company who's logo is a bullseye) as an entry level buyer in minneapolis, minnesota. in my spare time, i love being active (i'm an avid runner, biker, yogi and snowboarder wannabe), going to concerts, reading, spending time with my boyfriend of seven years, eating and baking (i workout to eat). my best friend and i actually have a small cupcake catering company (mila cupcakes - you can find us on facebook!)
now that i'm an "adult" with a real job and a house, my ability to travel has really dwindled down but it's still so close to my heart. i truly believe that the best way to understand who you are is to get thrown into a different country and culture and have to make your way around. i look forward to connecting with you and hope our paths meet in the near future.

PHILOSOPHY
Try to enjoy life as much as possible because you only have one. It's not something I've mastered yet, but I'm slowly getting there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first heard about it when I was visiting family in Beograd, Serbia and I went with a friend to meet someone from Belgium. Several months later, when I actually happened to be in Belgium, we were able to connect up again. I also had an experience in Paris with a very hospitable and friendly couchsurfing. But my favorite has been connecting with a fellow Chambérien and going snowboarding in the alps!
Interests
snowboarding, yoga, running, biking, reading blogs, photography, theater, eating lots of food, baking, decorating my new home, fashion, musics/concerts, Audrey Hepburn, anything french, classic films, giraffes and travel (of course!)
