About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make memories not food babies.

ABOUT ME

I am a person of science, so I tend to be very curious. I love exploring questions, topics, and cities. There is nothing in the world I love more than to walk aimlessly through a new city.

I think I am very sociable. I enjoy talking to strangers and learning their life history. I enjoy new cultures, ideas and of course, food.

I've been working since I was 8 and it finally hit me this year that work will always be there, but my youth wouldn't. So, here I am, out here, trying to explore the world before I need a walker.

PHILOSOPHY

You're only young once, go out and enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lived in Philadelphia all my life and I know every single nook and cranny of this gorgeous city. I can show you all the touristy places such as the Art Museum, Liberty Bell and Constitution Center. I can also introduce to you the hidden wonders of the city. And just to kick your curiosity in a bit: soft pretzels, water ice, and cheesesteaks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still rather new to this site, so I don't have too much experience with CS.

Interests

I started running a few months ago and LOVED it! I just finished my first 5K and it felt amazing. I also enjoy roller blading (although I rarely see anybody else doing it), playing frisbee, volleyball and softball.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping for bargains at flea markets and thrift shops, baking, crocheting and dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My entire camping trip at Shenandoah was pretty unforgettable. We got into a huge thunderstorm the first night at our campground. The second night, it hailed huge golf-sized ice while we were eating in our tent. We also hiked the Appalachian trail, swam in a waterfall, watched the sunset in the mountain, went star-gazing in an open road, and saw lots of deer, rabbits and bears.

Celebrating with my friends after finishing a 5K color run.

Looking down from a tower of the Great Wall. I swear, my knees were shaking throughout my entire climb down.

Eating fresh mussels on the seashore of a small village in Taishan with the sand between my toes and the salt winds blowing through my hair.

Wrestling with giant quahogs in the beach of Ipswich.

Falling through the clouds as I skydived in Perkasie.
