About Me
ABOUT ME
Born in the 70's & spent my early childhood growing up in a large squat in South London, spending my summers running around barefoot & mostly butt naked along with my brother & the other kids in the squat, I consider myself a real flower child :)
As a child I was quite fearless & a tomboy, Loved climbing trees, hanging out with boys & hated wearing dresses (except the special ones my mum made me) Come to think of it, I didn't much like wearing clothes or shoes & in the summer where ever I was would more often than not, spontaneously de-clothe myself & continue the day in my birthday suit. I think I was finally convinced to give that up when I was 5 or 6yrs old.
Although we grew up with very little money, I never really noticed it because we were always busy doing things that didn't require much money, poverty can make a person more creative, & both my parents musical & creative DNA passed on into my genes.. as I still..& very passionately, dance, draw, design & make clothes, wander happily around flea markets & charity shops, looking for bargains :)
And... I absolutely love 2 DANCE!!
If the music's good...I'll dance all NIGHT! :D

Our journey is an unwritten adventure....So go out there & write it, live it & enjoy it!

I'm a crazy horror, fantasy, Marvel/DC & sci-fi fan! Rec 1 & 2 have gotta be 2 of the scariest movies I've ever seen! Cloverfield, La Orfanato, Pans Labrynth... Love GOOD comedies & GOOD kung fu flicks & I don't mean Steven Segal or Jean Claude van Damm.... Old black n white classics & the old hollywood musicals, Fred & Ginger, Gene & Charysse...Yeah, whadda ya want, I'm a dancer & a dreamer :)))
I love all sorts of music! Some faves: James Brown, Raidiohead, Bonobo, Erykah Badu, Bjork, Roisin Murphy, Q-Tip, Jamiroquai, Air, Daft Punk, Queens of the Stone Age, Flying Lotus, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, The Hives, Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Curtis Mayfield,War, Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters, Funkadelic, Saint Germaine, Caribou, Michael Jackson, Beastie Boys, Vampire Weekend, Moderat, Jamie Lidel, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Blackjoy, Mr Scruff, Victor Duplaix, Jazzanova, The Dining Rooms, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Blue Note Jazz, Guru, Jurrassic 5, Mos Def, Audio Bullys, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Boards of Canada, De La Soul, Gorillaz, Nintin Sawhney, Outkast, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Massive Attack, Royksopp, The Beatles, Jimi Hendriks, Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Gossip, Underworld, Zero 7, Zapp Mamma, Ane Brun, Santana & the list goes on & on & on...anything that you can swing, groove, jump, bump & shake ya booty too is my thang :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Am I really that boring that I can't think of anything right now....???
I KNOW! Well it's not the most amazing thing I've done but the feeling was pretty awesome...
Back in the mid 90's I was 1 of the background singers for UB40 at the World Liberty Concert in Arnhem & we performed in front of more than 80,000 people live & millions more around the world, & standing on that stage with all those thousands of human beings all singing & waving along with you was such a warm amazing & surreal feeling...
Teach, Learn, Share
Now, I don't really consider or rate myself very high on the scale of lets say, school intelligence or a high IQ but I do consider myself emotionally intelligent (if that exists...in my ideal world it does) I'm more of an emotional even spiritual person. I like to observe & listen to people & their experiences. I'm sensative to things & people around me & can usually tell after 1 conversation, a certain look in someones eye or even just their presence whether there's a click with them or not. Let's just say, I have great spider sences.
For me, the best education is the one I get everyday when I wake up & step outside, from life itself, cheesey sounding, maybe, but that's the way I learn & share. We're all people with the same ingredients, just with different ways to cook the recipie & if we can share our recipies, then we can cook the most amazing things! Right!
What I Can Share with Hosts
When it's possible, I always have an extra place, whether it be a pull out sofa bed or large cushions... But because I live in temporary housing and moving quite often, my living space is always changing in size... Currently I'm living in a school, which I share with 3 other guys, so I have enough space :)
