ABOUT ME

I'm from Australian, from Sydney, and I'm looking to explore the world!
I'm pretty relaxed and I generally enjoy meeting new people, sharing adventures, and finding out what everyday life is like in other countries.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to take things each day at a time, being open to the world and enjoying the small things, and the silence. I'm all about acknowledging the things I'm grateful for and stopping to appreciate small moments of happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm on a mission to explore, looking to find out what everyday life is like in other countries. At this stage I'm looking to surf and meet new friends, however I'd love to go to meetups, and host once I'm settled back in Sydney.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've no experience surfing, but I've always lived in a place where anyone who needs a couch, hot shower or a meal is welcome.
I'm looking forward to hosting and showing people around Sydney when I return, and maybe surfing a few couches before then!

Interests

I'm a creative type, and I'm happiest when keeping busy making or creating something, or learning something new.

I love cycling, I think it's the best way to explore any city, and I love to swim. Take me to the ocean!

I love rock of all types, most metal, any type of jazz or soulful blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I set off on my own to see the world August 2014, and lived for a month on a farm in Katape, a place rural Turkey, learning about raw, organic food and living with the locals in a place where only the host family spoke any English.
