Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started doing a lot of hosting in Los Angeles when my roommates and I had a huge living room and I really loved it. I'm always ready to show someone around town and cook them some genuinely greasy American food. I also surf occasionally and have had entirely great and/or interesting experiences with my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm constantly trying to convert people to Couchsurfing - not because of the low cost (although that's certainly an added bonus), but because of the richness of the experiences I've had while traveling through Couchsurfing. Staying in a hostel or hotel seems so boring to me now because you can really only scratch at the surface of a city that way. It's always been the people and the small taste of their lives that they've shared with me that have made my travels so wonderful.

Interests

Mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, scalloped potatoes, hashbrowns, potatoes o'brien, potato soup, sweet potato pie, potato salad, oven-roasted potatoes, potato chips, etc.
