ABOUT ME
I am an undergrad student in the south. I study American Sign Language and love to sign whenever possible. I live with my partner and we have two puppies, Hudson and Finley. They are quite a handful but worth all the worries. I love to bike around my city and spend time with friends whenever I have a free minute. I love to go out dancing. I recently learned some basic latin dances but would love so much to learn more.
I constantly think and question my surroundings and society. I am active in my local community and love any chance that I get to challenge and deconstruct hate, homophobia and bullshit binaries.
If it is warm out I will be wearing a dress. I am a thrifting junkie and have more owl knick-knacks than your grandma.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe there's a little bit of good in the worst of us, a little bit of bad in the best of us. So that doesn't give any of us room to talk about the rest of us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My partner, Kris, and I will be traveling as a pair. So instead of one great new couch surfer guest, you get the pleasure of hosting us both. That's a great bonus if you ask me. I hope to someday share my couch when my puppies mature a bit and I have a futon that doesn't threaten to collapse when it is being used.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to do any couchsurfing but am excited to give this a try. I was hesitant at first but my partner has convinced me to give it a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure anyone else will find this as amazing as I did but I made an impromptu trip to Hollywood when I found out Bob Barker was retiring. I was able to get on the show before he left and check that off the bucket list.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little about sewing, cooking, and gardening. I know alot more about how to be a student, organize events, present on violence prevention and can make one helluva good pb&j. I know ASL, and would love to share any of my expereinces or knowledge about signing or the Deaf community with anyone. I am open to learning any/everything I can when possible.
