I hope to see the world. While that involves traveling everywhere I possibly can, it also means meeting as many people as I can possibly meet.

PHILOSOPHY

“It wasn’t the New World that mattered … Columbus died almost without seeing it; and not really knowing what he had discovered. It’s life that matters, nothing but life — the process of discovering, the everlasting and perpetual process, not the discovery itself, at all.”

I love this quote from Dostoevsky, and I think it sums up the fact that life is way more about the journey than the destination. I don't know why I'm here, and until you can give me a reason, I plan to enjoy the ride.

I love all music, especially The Beatles, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Hot Chip, Chromeo, Garden & Villa, Four Tet, MIA, tUnE yArDs, Cut Copy, The Black Keys, St. Vincent, Wilco, The White Stripes, Umphrey's McGee, Bon Iver, James Blake, and others. Hope that narrows it down...

As for books, my favorites are Lolita, Brave New World, Slaughterhouse Five, The Corrections, If On A Winter's Night a Traveler, Mrs. Dalloway, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I love all movies, especially ones that make me think and/or laugh. (The best ones do both.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, I took a 1500 mile bike trip through the Canadian Rockies. It was the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done.
