ABOUT ME

I'm a lovely lady of 32. I love to travel and meet new people. Currently living in Poland for a semester abroad, but home is really in Washington State, USA. I am currently completing my Bachelor's in Anthropology. I'm easy going, love to have a good time, like to laugh and I'm horrible about writing these things about myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm relatively new to the CS experience, but love the idea of meeting people and really seeing life instead of just being a tourist.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on many couches in my life, some with random people and some with friends of a friends dog and of course on the couches of good friends.

Interests

Books, people, hiking, kayaking, movies, cross stitching (I know- a little dorky), maps, forests, dancing, trying new foods, flea markets, laughing, swimming, talking, volunteering, trying new beers, sunrises/sunsets, history, flowers, singing, mountains, waterfalls, photography, life, tea, baking, my cat, cooking... this list could go on forever!

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I'm reading embarrassing amounts of trash fiction- with so much school reading that's what I crave. Movies- I'm a sucker for action/sci-fi- no love stories (unless they are REALLY good). Music- everything from Tori Amos, Tool, Nick Cave, Placebo, Concrete Blonde- I love music and love to here new stuff as I'm lazy about searching it out- and it's always better when there's memories attached.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed pyramids in the Yucatan!!! Navigated Polish transportation systems relatively successfully!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- English, cooking, plumbing, and all types of weird knowledge that floats around in my head- yet I cannot remember things for tests!
Learn- Anything and everything
Share- what you do when you meet people- just part of the experience!
