ABOUT ME

"I am very happy to be here!" Yes, that's a quote from the comedian Eddie Murphy in "Coming to America" in which he plays a young adult from African royalty. In that particular scene he is fresh on the soils of NY, U.S...ready to experience life and love -- his way.

That quote has always resonated with me, and now as I spread my wings a little wider and start exploring life, my way, I am tickled even more when I think of that scene and phrase.

I'm always aspiring. I'm becoming...and getting better at finding contentment with who I am RIGHT NOW. I am inclined to do right and treat people well. I try to consider all involved parties before making decisions. I enjoy a good time with friends and family. I enjoy a cozy couch.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new here as of July 13, 2010 and I love it. Currently, I'm looking forward to sharing my experience as a San Francisco Bay Area woman with whomever I encounter in Europe. I'm so thankful to those who are opening their homes to me and I look forward to offering what I can to ensure their experience as a host is rich.

Bilal (Bilal Sayeed Oliver) is the only musician I've gone out of my way to pay to see, specifically and solely, more than once.

So not a movie buff. Generally attracted to plots that focus on love and relationships from any angle. Really liked "The Namesake"
