PHILOSOPHY
Hmmm... I think, feel, believe and dis-believe lots of things. It is a bit less meaningful to me when blurted out online. But I do love face-to-face conversations about these things.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just recently moved from Saint Louis, Missouri to Eugene, Oregon- and am moving yet again in just one month. I need to see as much of Oregon as possible before then. Beginning in January and in the months that follow, I'll be hopping from city to city until I decide to plant myself in one, and I'll of course need a couch! Wherever I end up, I'll be happy to return the favor to CSer's passing through my new city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted one person in Eugene, and have met up with one person in Saint Lou for coffee/drinks/badass motorcycling adventures.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Thrilling roller coaster rides at Cedar Point theme park on Lake Eerie in Sandusky, Ohio. The sun was setting and all I could see for miles was the massive lake, and it's reflection merging with the colors of the sunset. And then dropping several hundred feet at a speed of something like 1,000 miles per hour! Then later walking the sandy beach of this inland sea at 2 AM, under a full moon holding hands with and kissing the guy who took me there. I can still feel the October breeze and hear the waves crashing in. That experience was the first to come to mind. It isn't like climbing the pyramids in Eygpt or anything, but it meant everything to me!
There is so much more... like the rolling hills of southwest Kentucky on my way to see Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, while the tree's leaves were every color imaginable. The rickety train slowly creeping along the track to Halstatt, Ostereich during a blizzard - and of course the feeling of being swallowed by the tight, massive, foggy, Alps, and their lake below.
The Glockenspiel at Mittag in Munchen... there is nothing more confusing after a long night of rowdy drinking at the Brauhaus... to name just a few.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I think I have a lot more to learn than I have to teach... and I'm not sure what I could teach someone else. I've been told that my passion and compassion are sometimes contagious - maybe this is something I have to offer less excitable and less understanding people.
