I am a curious anthropologist with a deep love for cultures and their people. I am always wishing I was on another adventure and somewhere else in this big world. I always love meeting new friends who have a heart for the world too and sharing adventures and traveling together. I think one of the best things in life is being shown around a place by a person who is a local themselves; to see the unique sides of all these places. At the moment I am not available to host fellow travelers in my home, but I would love to show them around if I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is an ingenious system of bringing people of the world together all based on altruism, what's not to lose? I'm just starting out, but I am excited to see who I meet, the places I get to see, the experiences I get to have.

Just moved to Amman for two months, looking for friends to share experiences with and dive headfirst into this adventure! Looking to meet locals or folks who are more in-tune than myself to show me around. I have always been one to cherish more the experiences of getting to know a place beyond the typical tourist desitinations and the people that make the city what it is. Books- Love anything written by Rumi, also loved Life of Pi, 1984 and Brave New World. Love Oryx and Crake and stuff by Dostoevsky. Love anything by Khaled Hosseini and I am currently diving into the world of Arabic literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Egypt! Lived there for 3 years and became a self proclaimed local. It is a country of non-stop loveable chaos, but proud to call Egypt home.
