About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Traveling for a few months and meeting gems and dreamboats alike along the way

ABOUT ME

Down to earth, street smart meets book smart, interested in creative and forward-thinking minds. A conditional introvert, with a bit of adventurous in the mix. I studied Spanish, German and women's and gender studies. I can be a wild-card but you'd never know. Thinking about a graduate degree in ethnic studies but for now enough studying! I'm taking a little break.

P.S. if you play the right music.. I will dance.

PHILOSOPHY

“We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.” -Bukowski

"I am that clumsy human, always loving, loving, loving. And loving. And never leaving." - Frida Kahlo

Grateful for the versitility of life, the endless supply of love and empathy just existing around and about waiting for us to use that shit to build and break down what does and does not suit our thriving!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been able to host quite a few people with my absolutely awesome housemate/best friend Kat (check out her profile here https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1000909131/profile), and together we've surfed a couple times during 2014 on a roadtrip.

Interests

Yoga, reading, creative writing. Messing around with my 10 dollar film camera find, experiencing nature/ exploring city areas. I'm always down for a hike- if I can end up swimming in some body of water during that, even better.

I'm always grateful for discussions, (preferably over coffee or tea or wine or horchata.) There are only a few things I appreciate more than pan dulce. I will get pretty excited for the occasional film, finding a good vinyl and looking in thrift shops for cool chairs or vintage clothes.
