About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving up money to go to the Azores, Lisbon and London this summer!
ABOUT ME
At the age of 20 I got bored of my life in Trondheim, life was all about work and getting drunk on the weekends - I wanted more. Had just finished my diploma in child and youth care (4 year education) when I heard about au pairing. Did a little research, signed up with a company and was on my way to the U.S after a few months of saving up some money.
Had an amazing year living and working in D.C, met so many amazing people that opened my eyes to so many cool stuff, opinions, new food, I got less selfish and learned how to enjoy life! Ever since I've been on the go, with the occasionally stop at home to say hi to the family, and plan on not stoping until I feel like it.
Life is too short to sit on the couch and watch someone else live your dream!
PHILOSOPHY
Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few in my home town Trondheim - all over good experiences. Have only surfed a few times myself, but will definitely do it more when I'm out travelling again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Enjoyed so much having surfers on my couch, learned something from each and everyone. Same goes for my surfing too, love meeting new people and have had a great time with the people I stayed with.
Interests
Meeting new people, try out new food, wine and craft beer, hiking and bonfires, nature and wildlife, history, kayaking, boardgames, animal welfare, star gazing, thunder and lightning, I like people who know how to indicate when driving a car, cooking, snorkeling, skiing, geography and maps, traveling without a plan, reading, caves, people watching, travel writing and photography, documentaries and biographies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm gonna say sky diving over Lake Taupo, though I'll admit it was so scary I'll probably never do it again! But hey, you got to try everything at least once.
Seen the Northern Lights.
Spent 10 days in a Buddhist temple in Thailand (I was the first westerner they ever hosted and they didn't speak a word of English!).
Walked the famous West Coast Trail in 6 days and 5 nights.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn about Norway I know a lot about Norwegian history, geography and culture! And living in Aoteoroa for a while, I'm sure I can teach you a thing or two about that beautiful country as well. I quite like to cook, and won't mind cooking up a little feast if you let me stay on your couch...
