Overview
About Me
I have a rather big cheeky grin. I love to laugh at my own jokes. I love this beautiful world we live in, being part of it's regeneration process and seeing (and experiencing) all that it has to offer. I'd like to say I'm open-minded and adventurous and curious ... hence my insatiable desire to get out there, to travel and meet new people (!). I love a good chat over drinks, coffee or food ... or just chatting for that matter.
I was farming for 2 years and running my own business before I met my fiance, Jake. We're in the process of buying some land but for now, I work full time in digital marketing in our beautiful little coastal town in the South West of Victoria, Australia.
I love nature, being amongst it and witnessing it's beauty firsthand. Hiking, gardening, mountain bike riding, yoga, cooking, writing.. these are just a few of my favourite things.
My hope is to leave this world in a better state than when I entered it. I try to tread lightly wherever I go... leaving just a heavy footprint on people's hearts. Tear-jerking stuff people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I spent half of my 20s travelling all over the world doing whatever I could to keep a good thing going... volunteering, travelling with friends, couchsurfing, working, studying, you name it. It's crazy to think I joined couchsurfing 10 years ago! I look back on those years with so much fondness <3
While I've now entered the next decade and chapter of my life where I don't have as much time to travel anymore, there's still some space to couchsurf. My fiance and I heading off on our first overseas trip together and I'm so excited to share some couchsurfing experiences with him and show him what it's all about so I can convince him down the track to host couchsurfers when we have a home of our own ;-)
Interests
Travelling (duh!), sustainable agriculture, getting my daily caffeine hit, going walkabout, outdoor adventuring in all forms, hearing the joy in someone's voice when they get to retell one of their great travel adventures, wine, cheese, wine and cheese together, clean bed sheets (oh the pleasure), mum's Sunday night roast

AND
Trading in the backpack to pursue my dream of farming.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook. And I love to eat. And I love to grow the food I cook and eat. Good wholesome, healthy, sustainably raised and local food where possible. So given the chance, I'd love to share in one of these experiences with you!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you give me the chance, I'd love to cook a meal for you. I'm not too bad in the kitchen. My partner and I love good, wholesome, home cooked food and while travelling, we'll no doubt be craving some!
We can both spin a good tale and are very friendly and outgoing. So we're happy to chat and interact as much (or as little!) as you want.
I hope you find me fascinating as much as I'm sure I'll find you interesting :)
