About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do things that make me laugh and smile, loud or in my soul.
ABOUT ME
Can be full of action as well as calm âÃâ¬Ãâ it depends on the situation. I love to have my closest friends around as much as I love to be alone. I can long for opening a book or take one of all my pens or pencils and just attack an empty paper.
Sometime I enjoy knit and sew as much as clean the bathroom. I have a company designing and selling art stamps. I also create arty stuff with stamps and screenprinting.
There are a lot of music in my life but be aware âÃâ¬Ãâ silence could sound like music as well. I watch a movie now and then but I do not own a TV: if I'm bored I rather look in the roof.
I avoid club life but really enjoy sitting in a bar with a glass; reading, observing or hopefully âÃâ¬Ãâ meet some new people. But yes, I go there with friends too. Of course.
I have a Bachelor in Nautical science (master mariner) and work in a research group focused on Maritime Human Factors.
I eat a lot of vegetables, preferably together with a big rare steak and try to exercise at least three times a week.
PHILOSOPHY
”Vill man så kan man”. If you really want to, you can do it. The translation to english make it feel a little bit... wimpish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My close friend and school mate Björn talked a lot about CS. But, since I live on a small area I thought it may be difficault.
One day I became a little bit involved when he hosted a surfer and felt that I wanted to be a part of this.
I was thinking; that it maybe doesn't matter if I don't can offer a separate room or a big living room; I still can offer a place to sleep. And after all – after the ”sleeping thing” – it is all about meeting, and sharing with (new) people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually, I become more ”amazed” about all the things happening in my ”every day”-life. I remember the feeling when I saw the ”blue and orange” through the airplane window, when crossing Sahara, or the feeling and smell at the market in Douala (Cameroon)...
But still: the sound of a ship down the river, the birds song in the spring, find my favorite beer on a new found pub, find a interesting people at the same place, the sun in the morning and a cup of coffe in the bed – that is what I call amazing...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you everyting I can. I know a little of many things and much about a few things.
I would love to share my knowledge about cooking, but don't ask for a recipe. I'am not an artist but I love to paint and draw and there are a brush or pencil for you as well – even when I'm travelling. Grab the calligrapy pen and write what ever you want. If you get headache or just suffer from dry skin, lets make you a body oil. I use to carry at least a few of my over hundred essential oils, in my bag.
If you speak french you can refresh mine. Give me some inspiration to new food. I love cross cooking and chili fruit, in all variations, is my favorite.
