ABOUT ME

I retired from my job on August 22, 2012 and on August 27th I left on a x-country tenting trip with Linda who was my roommate in VISTA 40 years ago. I chose to tent because I wanted to experience the residents in each area of the country, rather than just the tourists. I love the "blue highways" and eating at diners.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel blessed to have been born to parents and siblings who loved me, to have a husband who loves me, and children that I cherish. I am now looking for a way to return these gifts to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about CS from friends at home and signed up just before leaving on my x-country trip. This will be a new experience for me.

I am passionate about social justice and dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The births of my 3 children have been the most amazing experiences of my life. Next to that was attending the inauguration of Barack Obama.
