About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out everything there is about the unknown

ABOUT ME

Well I had always stayed put in Melbourne and travel was something that I only dreamed about.

It was only after a myriad of international housemates rolled through my place I that I started to think it was a possibility. And, when my Swedish housemate Hanna asked me to come visit her, I thought "why not?".

So here I am, 3 years later, with a world trip under my belt and many wonderful couchsurfing memories to smile about - I'm back in Melbourne and ready to give back to the couchsurfing community which gave me so much.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all living on borrowed time so I want to get as much out of life as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a fantastic few years worth of couchsurfing experiences worldwide but I'm a novice in the Melbourne couchsurfing community. A few of my previous hosts in Europe have made the trip out to Australia - which was great because it gave me an opportunity to repay the favour.

Interests

If you like good wine and food then you'll find that we'll have a lot in common. I love hanging by the beach or going scuba diving - so any great diving stories are very welcome!

But, most importantly, I'm interested in new experiences and cultures different from my own. I like positive people and people who don't mind poking a bit of fun at themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm reading "A handful of honey". It's really romanticized the notion of hitch hiking around Sahara and North African countries...not sure about the reality...

Music - I think I might just be the only fan of Little Birdie. Ah well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Don't know if this counts but I was thrown out of bible school.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oddly enough I want to learn about teaching. Teaching english overseas.

Professionally I'm well versed in online Marketing. I currently work for myself as a consultant which gives me the freedom to travel and work from any beach lounger in the world.

Not sure what I can offer but I bake chocolate treats on Sundays so I'm happy to share if chocolate brownies are your thing :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Malaysia, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
