About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Continue to create. Build community wherever I am. Make the most of what precious moments I encounter. Be kind to my body. Take on more responsibility.

ABOUT ME

I am a mild mannered open minded young female with a cool head in hectic situations. I savor silence but also relish in live music, performances and social gatherings. I believe I am forever a student of the universe and live to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

Bumble Be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To participate in an alternative societal paradigm. When I have safe space to share I am willing to do so and would love to meet others with a similar perspective in this regard :)

Interests

My favorite thing to do is walk, I have hiked the John Muir Trail and I spend much of my free time hiking. I love plants and am very interested in identifying, gathering and processing medicinal and edible plants for application. When visiting a new place, I am most interested in discovering it's history and culture. I am always reading a book. Dancing to live music and swimming are my other two favorite things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Grateful Dead, Courtney Barnett, The Murlocs, select hip-hop, lots of calm instrumental and anything funk/soul
Books: Good novels, true life stories, history, informative
Movies: I like the independent film variety; Honeyland is one of my favorite films, Wes Anderson films, The Dark Crystal, The Never Ending Story (also one of the greatest children’s fantasy books!) I like prison movies like Animal Factory. Anything that provokes introspection and consideration of the human condition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked for one week in the Sierra Nevada with my mother.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is meant for learning and everyone has knowledge of something, let's share what we know (or think we know), listen and be open.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy
