About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to get out there and do....
ABOUT ME
All about me, eh? Let see... I am a downhome girl. I can be a little shy when I first meet people, but I usually warm up pretty quickly. I have a serious case of wanderlust, but too much student debt to travel as much as I would like, but now that I am finally a teacher I'll have summers to travel! ...There are a lot of things that I want to do in my life, and as 'life' gets closer I am finally getting brave enough to go out and do them.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy? I really just believe in loving people, and I try to show that to everyone I meet, because when it all comes down to it, Love is what matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted some awesome people, and I will hopefully get to do some surfing of my own soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to get to go couch surf... dang bills, but I have done a few home stays on a few trips with my university band. Some were a little creepy, but some were a lot of fun.
Example: in a little town in the panhandle of Texas there is a whole house built inside of an old movie theatre. We pulled up and I was confused, but then we went inside and they had a little house built inside, with a 'yard' around the outside. We stayed in their teenage daughter's room, which was in the old projectors booth and had been made up to look like a guest house on a hill. They were a great family with a VERY unique home.
I have however been able to host some awesome people.. I love this....
