About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find hapiness, my goal, myself. Learn as much as I can and start making dreams come true.

ABOUT ME

I am considering myself easy-going, neat, quite laid back, athletic. What I like the most is movies, working out, water, music, dreaming :) and ofcourse new experiences, learning.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess at the moment I am in search of happiness and place called home. I am still figureing out my goals, what I want to do with my life, but I know one thing: I want to learn as much as I can from life and then give the world back what I have learned.
One of my principles is tolerance. It is something that is behind many problems in the world, because people and cultures are different it is really easy to misunderstand each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been a member for a while, though not an active one. On my travels I have met some of the fellow CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because it is not common in my country for people to take other people they dont know to stay with them, I got my experience summer 2007 in USA. I was suprised how friendly and helpful people can be. Whole summer there I stayed with people who opened their homes and their hearts. It was fantastic and got many good friends and experiences (working there, my lifes biggest concert, American wedding). It opened my eyes and now I see people differently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies. If I hava a chance I watch one or two movies a day. Im mostly interested in sci-fi, mystery and movies that make you think, but I also enjoy entertaining comedys and action flics. Tho only movies I dont like I guess are horror movies.
Some of the best movies I have watched lately: Into the wild, Revolver, Man from Earth, Sicko, Sixth Sense, Det sjunde insleget, Pans Labyrinth. When I remember some more Ill add em.

From music, I actually listen everyhing. My moto in music is that because there are so many different music styles and musicians, then there has to be some good songs in every style :). I actually started of listening rock, punk-rock, metal then lot of my music influences come from there. But because I started doing basically DJ stuff in high school for parties I have gotten into that kind of party music to. So from there comes the rnb, hip-hop, rap, trance, pop, 80s and 90s and different kinds of club music, because people and tastes were different and I had to give something to everyone. Lately I listening lot of music that has combined elements from different genres. Like metal and folk, classical and folk, classical and metal, hip-hop and rock, hip-hop and trance, rnb and classical... and so on.

Im not a big reader, but when I do then I rather spend my time reading something educational, not novels, poetry and this kind of stuff. Latley I have spent lot of time reading about Australia, because I want to know where Im going :). Tho I read little bit ago about philosophy and psychology also spent some time educating myself on the field of economy, mostly entrepreneurship and investing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a summer in USA. Not so amazing when Im just saying it like that. But in that time had time to sell books from door to door, getting robbed at gun point, being in an car accident, but also meeting some great people, partying, going to the biggest concert in my life, spending time in biggest city I have ever been to, shopping and most of all enjoying great nature and hiking in mountains.
Also the year I spent in Australia was quite amazing, but its a lot to put in words here.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, because Im still young and dont have so much experience in life, but I can share my travel stories and I propably know some interesting facts about different things. Ofcourse I can talk about my country, philosophize about world. I have some fair knowledge about foods as this is what I study and do.

Well actually there is so many things I want to learn about, the more I learn the more I want to know :). Some of the things I want to learn: surfing and diving (cause Im going to Australia ofcourse :)), entrepreneurship, investing, psychology and german.
