I believe in the couschsurfing spirit, and it's precision at cutting through the tensions between and around us, a wonderful aid in making the great leap across cultures and back again... encouraging us to break down or step through the imaginary borders that separate and isolate us.

A little bit about verification...
I was couchsurfing before "getting verified" became a thing (yes, there was a before), and I am couchsurfing still. I Have always had a vast majority of powerful positive experience with hosts and surfers alike. As in the beginning... the references, the full profile, the common sense approach, all serve as a check and balance on this system.
