So this one time I almost hit a family of monkeys while motorcycling around Bali. That is when I realized that expectations and norms are useless because regardless of the best made plans sometimes life throws a pile of monkeys at you and you just have to deal with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I ask strangers for candy in the form of their couches and hope that they are as nice and trustworthy as I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing for decades but it was mostly at friends' and occasionally strangers places well before I was a member of this website. Stayed with a few people I met while living in Australia and can't complain about the experience at all.

Interests

Scuba diving in mild currents so I don't really have to do any work.

Motorcycling on scenic roads around the world in the early morning before most people get on the road and start their day. Writing about my life, business and finance. Asking people probing questions in the slight hopes that the answer will not only tell me about their soul but maybe something I didn't know about myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sat and watched the sunset from beginning to end and realizing that in all my life I had never done such a simple thing.

Second amazing thing I've done is fly airplanes on two continents despite not having a pilot's license.
