Hi, I am Jochen. I was born in Mannheim in the South of Germany but have lived in many cities so far. I love traveling for getting to know new people and cultures.
I work as an author and for different projects in public relations. I like reading (what a surprise), running, yoga and cooking.
Meeting people with tolerance, an open mind and helping each other is very important for me.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: depending on the mood. Funk and electronic would make it best to dance..

Movies: "Cherry blossoms" by Doris Dörrie. And good old "Groundhog Day" :-) Nearly all movies by Terry Gillam, Wim Wenders, Coen brothers and Álex de la Iglesia.

Books: too many... "Infinite Jest" or "Stiller" or "The Trial" maybe...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Once I visited a buddhism monastery in Thailand. After some talks with the monks and the abbot he invited me for the morning prayer (at 5.30...) So I went there some mornings and got lectures in buddhism. Finally they invited me to share a meal - I think I could have stayed there much longer.
