About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to have a good life and help other people do the same.
ABOUT ME
I feel like I'm living the dream...doing what I love in a place that I love surrounded by people that I love. I live out in the country, growing and selling vegetables while also working part-time at my local parks. I also love playing music, especially old-time fiddle and banjo. My philosophy on life could be partially summed up with an Aldo Leopold quote: "What a dull world if we knew all about geese." I enjoy learning about different people, places, and cultures. On November 1st, 2014, I married my incredible wife, Robin. We're excited to travel the world together!
Oh yeah, one last thing...If I die today, I will have lived an amazing life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2007, I worked on top of Mt. Mitchell (6,684 ft - tallest point in the Eastern US), and had the time of my life. I met amazing people, explored the temperate rainforests, went on incredible weekly hiking/camping trips, got struck by lightning, laughed my hardest, helped land a rescue helicopter, sang songs often, and saw more sunsets than I ever have before or since.
