About Me
Travelling with a passport as you wish is a privilege nowadays and I appreciate this gift. I spent one month living in Sarajevo / Bosnia-Herzegovina which was a great experience - I'd come back every time, it's a great city. I also had great encounters in Iceland, Turkey, Lebanon, USA, Canada and in many other places.
I'm working as a writer and journalist and I also do some other freelance stuff. I live in Hannover (and I'm glad to show you around the city). I'm always up to a good conversation, discussing social and political issues as well as nonsense, and to meet new people.
This July I will spend one month in Turkey, attending a language class in Antalya and afterwards working on a biological farm near Fethiye, in the middle of a pine forest. Really looking forward to do that :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because travelling means more to me than just visiting a country's sights. Hope to find good energy and dynamics with the people here.

Music, Movies, and Books
a very incomplete list of musicians I like, but Colleen Green, Mac DeMarco, Darwin Deez, Astro, Joachim Witt, Beirut, White Stripes, Little Joy and Manu Chao are good starting points...
dislike those "the best 10 songs in the world" - lists, everyone who really enjoys music knows that such a list neglects the beauty and diversity of music; same goes for books and movies. But I'm pretty sure I could watch Bojack Horseman and John Oliver for the rest of my life ;) The last book I read was Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, which was great, right now I started with Albert Camus' The Stranger.
