ABOUT ME

I'm a girl with fluctuating hair color (Typically green recently). I enjoy books and films and lectures and stand up comedy. I hold strong opinions on things I know a lot about, and slightly less strong opinions on things I don't know anything at all about. I love travelers and scientists and surgeons and crust punks and everyone else, really. I love to make art about medicine, science, and the wonders of the universe, making complex information accessible to all using basic visual communication skills and slightly more complicated rendering and sculpting skills. I love to sing and play guitar, but I'm terrible at one of those things. Currently enrolled in an MFA program for Museum Exhibition Design to combine all my loves and skills.

Come hang out with me, we can play scrabble, watch movies, dress up in costumes and play pranks on strangers, explore abandoned buildings, skip rocks, swim, tell bad jokes in stupid accents, play pictionary, get wasted and do all of the above!

PHILOSOPHY

I attach a reverence to learning and critical thinking that some people attach to god. Maybe that's unhealthy, but it's what I do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in a clothing optional house in New Orleans, and did not realize that it was a clothing optional house until it hit me in the face, I hosted a gaggle of european students, a bunch of french canadian anarchists who made amazing vegan crepes, a stand up comic who made me laugh so hard orange juice came out of my nose. Good people, lots of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a thousand different waffle houses.

I got naked on an ice sheet and tried to make human letters with my friends in Wyoming.

I saw a naked woman making pancakes in new orleans.

I saw a fortune teller get into a fight with a living statue in New Orleans

I saw the sunrise over millions and millions of sunflowers in north dakota, over glenwood springs canyon, over sedona, over the desert, and more awesome landscapes.

I've seen an impromptu critical mass assemble, become freinds, and all go to a bar together in seattle.

I've seen a thousand men in armor and rattan swords beat the brains out of each other in the middle of the woods in pennsylvania.

I've seen the world subdivide into patterns of interconnecting rectangles on acid

I've made complete strangers laugh onstage all over America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything the world has to teach me

I can teach illustration, sewing, batiking, sculpting in wax, casting in metal, welding, forging, rock carving, Windows OS maintenance, Basic Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, a wealth of the english language, how to eat from dumpsters, how to break into abandoned warehouses, and other such fun activities.
