ABOUT ME

I am an easy going girl who is ethnically Chinese, but grew up in New York City. Currently, I'm working in Denmark and I can't wait to see the rest of Europe! I truly enjoy learning about different cultures and immersing myself in different ways of living.
I consider myself to be a people-person and I love spending hours just talking to others and learning more about them. I can be serious and have deep, meaningful conversations but most of the time, I just like joking around and making people laugh.
I may be young but I feel like I've learned a lot in my 25 years on this planet and I can share a lot with the world :) One of my greatest joys is making new friends and I hope that being on this site will help me get in touch with people I wouldn't otherwise come across. Hej :)

Live every day to the fullest. It's cheesy but I should've followed this rule earlier. Life really does fly by!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have my own place so I can't host at this point in time. I really hope to in the future, though!
For now, I want to share my experiences and learn about the people on CS!

兴趣

I've taken courses in many different disciplines but I'm mostly interested in psychology, law, international relations, history, and philosophy. I also enjoy studying different languages and learning about the effects different languages have on our thoughts. It's really interesting!
I love to sing, dance and I also play a variety of sports, including handball, tennis, and ultimate frisbee.

Movies- I like movies that are really profound, entertaining and those that catch me off-guard. Favorite movies include To Live, The Prestige, The Notebook, Up, Finding Nemo, Armaggedon, Match Point...I'm also a hopeless romantic so I adore chick flicks.
Music- Anything that has a good beat so I can dance to it or anything with meaningful lyrics.
Books- Basically the same idea as the movies. Books by Nicholas Sparks, Harry Potter series, Tuesdays with Morrie...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing thing I hope to do ONE DAY- skydive.
For now though, I think the most beautiful thing I've ever seen is the sunset in Hawaii.
Amazing but sad memory- admiring the twin towers on September 9th, 2001, with no idea of what was to come 2 days later.

I can teach Chinese, and also a bit of Danish. I've worked as a bartender and a barista before so I can teach you how to make many types of delicious drinks! :)
