CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I was born in La Réunion, a French tropical island in the Indian Ocean, now inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Who am I? Neither Spiderman, nor Kickass. I am just a backpacker and hiker.
Since 2005, I have been traveling extensively around the world: spending months in the Sahara deserts from Mauritania to Egypt, climbing in the Indian and Nepali Himalaya, hiking in Los Andes from Venezuela to Argentina, visiting UNESCO`s World Heritage natural and cultural sites... and above all meeting people from different backgrounds.
But from time to time I need to refill my wallet. So I work as an electrical engineer in Canada.
I like planning journeys... and changing plans!! I have so many plans in mind: Istanbul to Beijing on the Silk Roads, Cairo to Cape Town...
PHILOSOPHY
"Things you own end up owning you." So burn your credit cards and you'll be free!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing things are often simple ones like wandering about and by chance finding an astounding landscape behind the trees, discovering an archaeological artifact half-hidden in the sand or being invited by locals to share their meal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Share travel tips, especially if you want to travel with only 10 bucks in your pocket.
Learn anything I possibly can. I'm a student of people and cultures.
